Achieving authentic oral language from students remains one of the primary goals for all language teachers, but student anxiety and insufficient class time can negatively impact the quality and quantity of student output. In this webinar, learn how to use Extempore to integrate three foundations of authentic oral output: pronunciation, interpersonal communication, and real-world tasks. I am a retired high school and post secondary Spanish teacher. During my years as a teacher, I served as Department Chair and on many curriculum committees (including the Florida Committee that wrote the latest version of the Sunshine State World Language Standards). I have been President of the Florida Foreign Language Association, the Florida Chapter of AATSP and FLENEF (our regional WL organization - Foreign Language Teachers of NorthEast Florida). I am presently the Conference Chair for the Florida Chapter of AATSP as well as the Poster Contest Coordinator and the Editor of La Voz, its weekly newsletter. I have presented at regional, state, national and international conferences for the past 20+ years.
