Keynote Speaker:
Clarissa Adams Fletcher is an educator of 30 years teaching Spanish and serving as World Languages Department Chair at Dunwoody High School in Atlanta, GA. She is Nationally Board Certified and has taught Spanish levels one through eight including currently AP Spanish. She has served and trained as AP Spanish Language & Culture table leader/reader and one of the AP Daily Instructors for College Board this year. She has conducted many state, regional and national workshops and webinars independently for school districts throughout the nation. She was the ACTFL Teacher of the Year in 2011 serving on the SCOLT board serving as the SCOLTalk editor. She embraces the opportunities to share ideas with fellow educators especially young and upcoming ones to embrace their passion yet keep realistic goals. She has a B.A. and M.A. in Latin American Studies from Vanderbilt University which she credits her focus on culture as well as language studies. |
