Jennifer Campbell will be presenting at the 2021 NECTFL Conference, representing the Best of Delaware!
"Creative a Positive Learning Environment"
Jen Campbell teaches Spanish at Middletown High School in the Appoquinimink School District. In her 19th year of teaching, she is constantly evolving her teaching practice to include student choice and mindfulness during her students' proficiency journey. Making connections has become especially important in these times of hybrid learning.
A lifelong Delaware resident and graduate of University of Delaware, Jen holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Education, as well as a Masters degree in Educational Leadership. She uses her time as department chair to organize and promote the Certificate of Multiliteracy opportunity in her school district. Jen is very excited to add NECTFL 2021 to her professional development experiences!
When she's not teaching or coaching cheerleading, Jen enjoys traveling to the Florida Keys with her husband and 2 sons.
Leslie Grahn - 2020 Friend of Languages
Leslie Grahn has twenty-seven years of language teaching experience at the middle and high
school levels and twelve years of experience at the central office level, most recently as
Coordinator of World Languages for the Howard County Public School System in
Maryland. Leslie has been a course instructor on foreign language teaching methods and
differentiated instruction and is a frequent presenter at state, regional, and national
conferences, specializing in best practices. She facilitates workshops on the topics of student
engagement, rigor, authentic resources, assessment, core practices and differentiated
instruction. She has experience in teacher and leadership development and leads training on
instructional coaching, mentoring, leadership, and communication skills. Leslie is the co-author
of The Keys to Strategies for Language Instruction and serves on the boards of NECTFL, NADSFL
