Who are we? We are a professional organization of your colleagues united to represent the interests and needs of Delaware World Language teachers. We function as a liaison between the DE Department of Education WL and teachers. We are grant writers, sponsors, and co-sponsors of many statewide professional seminars and workshops. We are your written connection to national, state, and local language happenings via our newsletter and e-mailings. Please consider re-joining or joining DeCTFL for the first time. October 23 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm Help the Delaware Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages support creative initiatives that promote language proficiency and cultural awareness for Delaware’s students. Donations will fund student scholarships, competitive grants for teacher projects, and professional development opportunities for teachers. Dine in and 10% of bill will go to DECTFL when you write DECTFL on check.
The Path to Proficiency from K to 16: Moving Forward Summer 2019 & 2019-2020 Academic Year
The Delaware Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages and the University of Delaware will host a second series of collaborative professional learning opportunities for Delaware K-12 world language teachers and UD world language faculty this summer and during the 2019-2020 school year.
The series is free for DeCTFL members. There is a $20 fee for non-members
